PANE IN THE GLASS PRODUCTIONS

 ACTING OUT

“Actions speak louder than words.”
Who said that, I do not know,
But it’s plain as the nose on your face,
“You will reap what you sow.”

It starts with such a little thought,
That takes form on your lips.
Before your eyes, an action takes place,
And then the brain does some flips.

Now most of the time, it’s a blessing.
 The thoughts are really resourceful,
But when a sick soul goes to thinking,
The thought that’s left out is “remorseful.”

“Take anything you want, it’s yours.
Hurt someone else 'cause it feels good.”
It’s the thrill of a moment of thought,
That turns into words that you should,

That turns into actions so dreadfully wrong,
That causes someone else pain,
And the ultimate need to feel really good
Isn’t really hard to explain.

We see it so often on TV.
We see it when we read books.
Living out fantasies fills in life’s boredom.
In movies, it’s done with good looks!
